Schedule

View our class schedule below. Please be ON TIME for class. If it is your first class, please show up 10 minutes early to fill out an info sheet. You will need to be wearing comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Bring water and a towel as well.

Schedule Breakdown

Mondays at 11am:
Circuit Training

Working on balance and endurance-training moving through stations. This class is split by capability levels.


Tuesdays at 11am:
Box N Balance

Helps with balance, cognitive function and flexibility. Meditation or qigong is done at the end of class. This class is split by capability levels.


Wednesdays at 5pm:
Jungshin Fitness and Functional Training

Jungshin Fitness is a swords-based fitness class that helps with the mobility of the shoulders and neck, balance, and posture. The other half of the class is functional training using free weights.
 

Thursday at 11am:
Mixed Training and Tai Chi

This class includes slam ball exercises, band work, smart bell work as well as Tai Chi and Qigong. This class is split by capability levels.

Saturday, 12pm:
Boxing and Mixed Training

Boxing mixed with cognitive training and brain games. This class is for all capability
levels

 

Every 4th Thursday at Noon at the Senior Center:

Fit Drumming
Using an exercise ball and some drum sticks, get a workout in to some of your
favorite tunes. This class is for all fitness levels. You must reserve a spot by calling
the Simi Valley Senior Center at 805-583-6363.


Every 4th Friday at 9am at the Senior Center:
Jungshin Fitness

This class is for all fitness levels. You must reserve a spot by calling the Simi Valley Senior Center at 805-583-6363.
